Austin Asbury, Esq.

Austin Asbury is Founder and Managing Partner of Asbury Legal LLC based out of
Marietta, Georgia. Where he provides daily direction and oversight of his litigation
practice involving a wide range of experiences representing businesses and individuals
in many types of disputes, including business torts, insurance coverage, fraud claims,
with a focus on commercial real estate and residential real estate.

He is a dedicated and seasoned attorney who is a persuasive and successful
trial lawyer, Austin captures the respect of clients, and jurors alike. He has served
as lead counsel in negotiating numerous enforcement settlements, and has
routinely mentored and assisted other firm attorneys in the Litigation and Real Estate
Practice Group.  He has mastered, “The Concierge Services Technique” which gives
clients peace of mind during the entire engagement process. 

He has developed a fondness for working with start-up companies, consulting and advising them while also providing exceptional legal services. Austin’s entrepreneurial spirit has provided opportunities with both large firms as well as gaining him international experience interning in Atlanta with Sutherland, Asbill & Brennan and in Osaka Japan at Kitahama Partners Legal Professional Corp.

 

He also studied international law at Hong Kong University and Bond University in Australia which provided a solid foundation for his international experience and forged the basis of the diverse creative approach to solve legal problems. Each of his clients now benefit from that experience today.  Before founding Asbury Legal he worked in corporate litigation defending construction and railroad companies. This experience of investigating claims related to railroad crossing accidents makes him uniquely qualified when applying Federal regulations and state statutes to incident reports.

Michelle Simpson, Esq.

Michelle Simpson, Esq., is an Of Counsel Real Estate Attorney at Asbury Legal. Simpson has

been practicing law in the greater metro Atlanta, GA area since 2006. Simpson graduated

magna cum laude from Howard University (HU) in Washington, DC, in three years with a

BBA in Business Management and continued her studies obtaining a JD at

Harvard Law School (HLS) in Cambridge, MA. Participating in a HLS legal services clinical under
the supervision of Hale and Door (now WilmerHale) attorneys, Simpson was able to gain

invaluable experience as a Student Advocate servicing clients in the transactional areas of

real estate, small business, nonprofit, and entertainment law.  

Before her current positions, Simpson spent a year clerking for a Federal District Judge in Nashville, TN. Upon successfully passing the Georgia Bar, Simpson began her own firm, with constant access to a group of experienced advisors, and has been an entrepreneur continuously for over 10 years.

Clients note that Simpson is dependable, honest, thoughtful, diligent, responsive, organized and creative. She has a natural ability to recognize the needs of her clients and provide them with an array of options that allow them to reach their goals while maintaining organization, accountability and integrity.
